Located in the heart of South St. Pete, our private, not-for-profit school caters to children from age 3 through 5th grade. We prioritize small class sizes, compassionate teaching, and a curriculum designed to inspire and challenge our students.

Children learn from people who know them. Every scholar at IPLA is known by name, by strength and by story — by every adult in the building, not just their teacher.

High expectations are a form of respect. We teach a rigorous, research-based curriculum because we believe our scholars can meet it — and they do.

Confidence is taught. Through mentorship, character work and daily encouragement, scholars learn to believe in themselves long before anyone else does.
Why Does IPLA Exist?
We started because our children were outgrowing what came next.
In 2010, after years teaching in Pinellas County Schools, Twanna Monroe opened Infinite Potential Learning Center to give children in South St. Pete the strong start they deserved — infancy through age five.
It worked almost too well. Her preschoolers were entering kindergarten so far ahead of their peers that some grew bored and disengaged in the classrooms they'd graduated into. Parents began asking the same question: can you just keep going?
On August 10, 2022, Infinite Potential Learning Academy opened its doors — a Black-owned and operated private school built to carry that same standard all the way through 5th grade.

Who Do We Serve?
From age 3 through 5th grade
Preschool — Age 3 to Pre-K Foundational literacy, numeracy and social skills in a nurturing setting, with the structure that makes kindergarten feel easy.
The reading and math years. Explicit phonics instruction, daily math practice, and the habits that carry a scholar through elementary school.
Deeper thinking, real responsibility and leadership. Scholars leave IPLA prepared for — and confident in — whatever middle school they choose.
